Who We Are
Concern Development Program (CODEP) was founded in the year 2014 and registered legally as a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) in Kenya on January, 2016. The founders felt that the young people, women and the disadvantaged groups were left out of so many developmental issues simply because they were not informed of the processes. CODEP’s mandate is to promote human rights, work with and for the elderly, community based environmental conservation initiatives, mitigate the impact of cultural practices, and improve food security and communities’ resilience to climate change among the poor in the community and society in general, among others. CODEP is based in Nakuru Town, Nakuru County, with its operations at grass root levels in several counties including, Laikipia and Kericho.
